Chasm, as Architect of Record in collaboration with Fusion Architecture, recently completed the design of a state-of-the-art theater, African American Art Museum and classroom building for Southern University at New Orleans. The $21.2 Million project will be located at the SUNO Park Campus existing theater site. The three-story project shall include a 1,000 seat theater, classrooms, laboratories, administrative areas, museum exhibit space, gallery space, archives, and exterior plazas. The intentionally negative spaces created by the design carve niches for exterior events. This new destination at the SUNO Park Campus will be a spectacular addition to the overall student experience. This project is currently under construction and shall be completed in calendar year 2019. Vivien Engineers completed all MEP and Special System design services for this project.
